Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a General Production Worker responsible for manufacturing sheet metal parts using basic machinery. This role involves ensuring quality control, interpreting blueprints, performing maintenance, managing inventory, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate basic machinery to manufacture sheet metal parts according to specifications.
- Inspect parts during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Interpret and work from basic blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Track and manage materials and supplies needed for production.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and machinery maintenance.
Skills
- Machine operating or assembly experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Mechanical ability.
- Ability to use basic blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using tape measures.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing industry.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art equipment. The role requires independent work in the fabrication department, with occasional collaboration with other individuals. Employees will stand or sit for 8 hours at the same machine, performing repetitive tasks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
