Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting students’ communication needs. This contract assignment offers the chance to make a difference in multiple school settings across a vibrant Florida county, with placements anticipated throughout the area. Full-time SLP-CCC professionals are needed to provide on-site services for the upcoming academic year.
Assignments will start in early August and run through the end of May, encompassing a variety of locations and student age groups. Exact school sites and caseload details will be determined by June, and those selected will help shape the lives of students at different educational stages.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active Florida SLP License issued by the Department of Health
- Prior schools-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable adapting to different school settings and working with diverse student populations
- Willingness to travel between assigned locations within the county
- Clean background; able to complete required fingerprinting process or provide verification through the AHCA Clearinghouse
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, tailored to their individual education plans
- Complete evaluations and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and student planning conferences as needed
All assignments are strictly on-site; remote/virtual options are not available at this time. The credentialing process includes timely fingerprinting and an internal interview, with support provided every step of the way.
