Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1

Compensation

• Salary Range:

  • $27.72 – $33.00/hour (5 years of experience)

  • $36.30/hour (10 years of experience)

  • $39.60/hour (15 years of experience)

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • $10,000 – Day Shift

  • $15,000 – Night Shift

• Night Differential: $4/hour

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

A well-established 223-bed acute care hospital serving the surrounding community is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join its patient care team.

The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care in an acute care environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit

• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with clinical standards

• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery

• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN License or eligible compact RN license

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required

• Acute care RN experience required (recent experience preferred)

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient care skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Physical ability to assist patients and handle equipment up to 50 lbs
