Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated School Occupational Therapist to join our team in Oakland, CA! We have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, and we are hiring like-minded professionals to be part of our team.
Job Details:

Full time (37.5 hours/week)

Caseload: 30-40 students
-
Age group: PreK and Elementary

Number of sites: 2

Pay starting at $55/hr

January 6 - End of April
Services you will provide:
-
Help students attain IEP and academic goals and objectives
-
Collaborate with families and teachers to help students achieve success
-
Screen new students to determine eligibility for services
-
Provide Occupational Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
-
Attend IEP meetings
-
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
-
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
-
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in timely fashion
-
Address and provide therapy for learning and or behavioral issues such as motor skills, cognitive processing, and visual or perceptual problems
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
-
CA State Licensure/Certification
-
NBCOT Certification preferred
