EHS Manager | Delta Township, MI
Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Delta Township region seeking EHS Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage hazardous waste programs, including proper storage, labeling, and disposal.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain EHS records and documentation, including permits, licenses, and training records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
- Fluency in Spanish or other relevant languages for the local workforce.
- Experience with EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
