Job Details:

• Work in Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) with 12 ICU beds and daily census of 10 patients
\n• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
\n• Float to medical/telemetry units as needed
\n• Weekend coverage required with 14 weekend shifts per contract
\n• Self-scheduling system
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients
\n• 2 years of ICU experience required
\n• Travel experience preferred
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Community hospital experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Skills include surgical intensive care, sheath removal, GI surgery care, wound management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IABP and Impella management, cardiac catheterization care, Swan Ganz monitoring, arterial line management, ventilator management, and various IV therapies
\n• Charting system experience required (Altera experience preferred)
\n• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance
\n• Required to complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
\n• Must be available for drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
\n• Must live more than 150 miles from facility location
