Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: Kansas City, MO
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Demand Planner to join our supply chain team. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with forecasting tools, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business intelligence.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather input and align forecasts.

Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variances; implement corrective actions.

Manage SKU-level forecasting and lifecycle planning for new product introductions and end-of-life items.

Support S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to meet service level targets while minimizing excess.

Utilize forecasting software and ERP systems to generate reports and dashboards.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within demand planning.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or related field.

3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.

Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, NetSuite, or similar).

Strong Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
