Food Production Associate 2nd Shift Position Location

Downingtown, PA Pay/hours for position

$18.00Requirements of position

1. Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and overtime
2. Must be able to get to work smoothly
3. Must be able to follow all GMP rules (examples: no phones on the floor, no fake nails, no nail polish, no jewelry, etc.)

Responsibilities of position

Food production workers have a wide range of responsibilities, which may include:

1. Maintain safety regulations, such as the use of protective equipment, such as helmets and safety glasses, when working with machinery or in hazardous environments.
2. Preparing food ingredients by measuring, mixing, stirring, chopping, slicing, dicing, peeling, or otherwise preparing for use in meal preparation
3. Perform sanitation tasks, such as cleaning equipment and surfaces, using cleaning chemicals or other detergents.
4. Mixing ingredients to create new products or improve the freshness of existing ones until they are used.
5. Marking food products with expiration dates or other labels such as "organic" or "gluten-free"
6. Clearly identify food storage locations for items such as canned goods or bottled liquids
7. Operate machines such as mixers and grinders to grind meat or mix ingredients.
