Location: Chicago, IL 60614 (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $23.50 - $27.50 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Billing Support professional to assist with invoice processing, purchase order tracking, and month-end activities during a high-volume period. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely billing across multiple logistics vendors while working closely with internal finance and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process logistics invoices and complete basic Goods Receipts (GRs) in SAP/Ariba
- Track purchase orders and invoice status using internal systems and spreadsheets
- Support weekly vendor pay runs and partner with Accounts Payable as needed
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accrual preparation and journal entry support
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain organized files and financial documentation
What We're Looking For
- Experience in accounts payable, logistics billing, or financial operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking and reconciliation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP and/or Ariba
- Prior exposure to logistics, transportation, or supply chain billing
- Month-end or accrual support experience

- High-volume workload requiring accuracy, organization, and reliability
