What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our animal patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments.
- Administering medications, vaccines, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitoring patient recovery and providing post-treatment care instructions to pet owners.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
- Educating clients on preventative care and general pet health.
- Operating and maintaining diagnostic equipment.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborating with the team to deliver the highest standard of veterinary care.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a self-motivated and goal-oriented professional who is ready to contribute to our mission. The ideal candidate will have:
- Credentialing in the veterinary industry (CVT required).
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the veterinary industry (new graduates are welcome to apply!).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical record keeping.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care.
