Job DescriptionWe are a booming digital transformation company focusing on cutting-edge solutions for government agencies. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are building out our cloud cost optimization team and looking for experienced analysts. The Cloud FinOps Analyst is responsible for managing the costs of cloud computing resources. This includes identifying and tracking cost drivers, developing and implementing cost-saving strategies, and reporting on cloud spend. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and a proven track record of managing costs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and track cost drivers
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies
- Monitor cloud spend and report on trends
- Work with stakeholders to understand and align on cost goals
- Advocate for cloud cost optimization within the organization
Qualifications:
- Technical degree preferred
- Active US Secret clearance
- 3+ years of professional experience in cloud cost analysis and optimization
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Experience with cost management tools (e.g. Cost Explorer) and committed discount instrument (e.g. Reserved Instances)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
