We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry practice. This role focuses on supporting the dentist in a wide range of routine and preventive procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and other restorative treatments. The Dental Assistant is responsible for preparing treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use in accordance with strict infection control and OSHA guidelines.
A key component of this role includes taking high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The assistant will also help maintain accurate patient records, including charting and updating medical histories, and provide chairside support to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, this position may involve light front desk duties such as greeting patients, answering phones, and assisting with scheduling to help maintain smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, maintains a strong attention to detail, and is committed to creating a positive patient experience from check-in through treatment.
