Chief of Staff KC is seeking a Receptionist for a client of ours within the Kansas City Metropolitan area. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. This role is responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating communication, and maintaining strong relationships through professional and timely service. In addition to customer-facing responsibilities, this position provides administrative support to help ensure efficient daily office operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide professional, friendly, and timely assistance to customers regarding products, services, appointments, and general inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional communication and follow-up.
- Handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Support company initiatives focused on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Welcome visitors and provide assistance as needed.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and customer communications.
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence as requested.
- Support daily office operations and administrative projects.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized reception area and office environment.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or administrative experience.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience using CRM or customer management software.
