Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator / Purchasing Assistant to support day-to-day operations, focusing primarily on logistics coordination and supply chain support, with additional purchasing assistance.
This role works closely with internal teams and international manufacturing partners—Mandarin fluency is required.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain
• Coordinate and track inbound shipments from overseas suppliers
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up to ensure on-time shipments
• Communicate with vendors and logistics partners regarding status, delays, and updates
• Support inventory coordination to align with warehouse and production needs
Purchasing Support
• Process and manage purchase orders (POs) in ERP/MRP systems
• Track open POs and maintain accurate records
• Assist with order confirmations and documentation
• Support reporting and data entry for purchasing activities
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with warehouse, planning, and operations teams
• Help resolve order discrepancies and delivery issues
• Maintain organized vendor and purchasing records
Qualifications
• Bilingual in Mandarin (required) – must communicate with overseas suppliers
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing support, or coordination roles
• Strong understanding of basic supply chain and logistics processes
• Experience with:
oShipment tracking
oVendor coordination
oPurchase orders
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, JobBoss, etc. is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
