Equipment Operator – Cement Pumps Coiled Tubing

Schedule: Rotational (14/7 or similar)
Job Overview
We are seeking an Equipment Operator to support coiled tubing operations in the Permian Basin. This is an entry-level to early-career position responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing basic repairs on pumping units used in coiled tubing services.
The ideal candidate has hands-on field awareness, understands jobsite flow, and takes pride in maintaining equipment and supporting safe, efficient operations. This role works closely with supervisors and senior operators to ensure all equipment runs reliably throughout the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pumping equipment during coiled tubing operations under normal working conditions
- Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on pumping units
- Perform and document pre-job and post-job inspections accurately and on time
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and control units at all times
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to supervisors promptly
- Support rig-up, rig-down, and well-to-well transitions (“well slides”)
- Provide clear shift handoffs to relief operators on equipment status and job conditions
- Assist and guide less experienced crew members on jobsite procedures
- Follow all safety protocols, including use of the buddy system
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic on location
Qualifications & Skills
- Working knowledge of coiled tubing operations, including rig-up and rig-down
- Experience operating pumping or blending equipment in oilfield services preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced field environment
- Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to take direction
- Capable of working long hours in outdoor conditions

- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in demanding field conditions
