Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support within a dynamic school environment in Henrico, VA, part of the Richmond area. The role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to diverse student populations, spanning various age groups and caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, SLPAs, and onsite facilitators to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance, adjusting therapy goals as required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to align therapy with educational goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Virginia SLP License.
- Experience working in school settings preferred; ranging from entry-level to advanced practitioners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage varying caseloads and adapt therapy techniques accordingly.
