Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school environment serving approximately 25 students with mostly mild to moderate communication needs. This leave contract position, based in Milton, WI, focuses on working primarily with 4th to 6th graders. The role offers part-time hours with the potential to increase to full-time, allowing for flexibility and growth within the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students identified with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin SLP License
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Certification
- Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a mild to moderate caseload setting
