General Purpose:
The Clinic Nursing Director supervises and coordinates all service, training, operational, and personnel functions of licensed nurses, unlicensed assistive personnel, and other clinical support/ancillary staff within the department. The Clinic Nursing Director may function as a clinical nurse in the provision of direct service to patients when the need arises. The Clinic Nursing Director works closely with interdisciplinary leadership colleagues (i.e. Director of Business Operations and Medical Directors) on matters relating to patient care. The Clinic Nursing Director works in close collaboration with the Medical Assistant and Care Navigator supervisor(s) to assure adequate staffing for providers and patient care needs.
Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:
- Provides supervisory functions within the department including hiring, training, evaluation, workflow, discipline, standards, and overall performance evaluation in accordance with STRIDE policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Oversees compliance with all applicable regulations and standards pertinent to the organization and care environment.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinic and patient care processes and procedures.
- Provides direct service to patients in the conduct of various clinical procedures within the approved scope of nursing.
- Assists in determining required levels of medical supply inventories, conveying needs to the Purchasing Department, and overseeing other supplies and equipment needs and maintenance requirements.
- Responsible for developing nursing staffing schedule based on workloads of providers and productivity targets established in the budget.
- Under the general direction of the Senior Leadership Team, develops and maintains approved policies and procedures for Nursing and clinical operations and helps ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory and accreditation bodies.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Leadership Team.

Education and Experience:
- Baccalaureate degree in Registered Nursing from an accredited school or training program, master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or appropriate compact licensing arrangement.
- 2 years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or community health setting. Previous ambulatory care nursing experience is preferred. Previous clinical leadership experience is preferred.

Working Environment and Physical Activities:
Office environment within a clinical setting. Moves about the office environment and to other locations. Moves objects up to 25lbs and 50lbs occasionally. Communicates information to others. Discerns/analyzes information from others to assist in decision making. Enters data into computer programs via computer, mouse, and keyboard.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday - Business hours 7:30am - 5:30pm
This position is exempt and may require work outside standard hours/shifts and in excess of 40 hours in a workweek.
We offer a competitive salary range of $92,624 - $136,700 depending on your experience.
This range reflects STRIDE’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training.
