Front Desk Data Entry and Administrative Support Specialist

Location: Minot Air Force Base, Minot, ND

Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0730–1630 Clearance: Background check required for base access

Position Overview Vancro is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Front Desk Data Entry and Administrative Support Specialist to support the Military and Family Readiness Center at Minot Air Force Base. This role provides non-personal administrative services, customer service support, and data entry assistance in support of the Air Force Transition Assistance Program and related programs.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a structured government environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary front desk point of contact, greeting visitors and answering telephone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform accurate data entry and record maintenance in government systems including AFFIRST and TAP ACCESS
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and administrative documents
  • Maintain office files and records in accordance with Air Force and federal records management requirements
  • Schedule appointments and manage Outlook calendars
  • Review, route, and process incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Provide routine information to customers regarding program services and status of requests
  • Support time and attendance tracking and basic administrative reporting
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive public-facing presence at all times

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and document formatting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain access to Minot AFB
  • Ability to work onsite full-time during normal business hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior administrative or front desk experience in a government or military environment
  • Familiarity with Air Force terminology or Military and Family Readiness Center programs
  • Experience with records management or data entry systems

This position includes an additional $5.55 per hour in federally required Health & Welfare benefits in accordance with the Service Contract Act, for total compensation of $25.55 per hour.
