Job Title: Plating Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plating Technician to handle the outside coating of customer products. This role involves performing electrochemical brush plating on customer-owned and sample parts for production, OEM, repair, or refurbishment, primarily working with oil and gas equipment. The work may take place in-house or at a customer's designated location, with travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrochemical brush plating on various parts.
  • Handle oil and gas equipment, including tapping off and prepping.
  • Work in-house or at designated customer locations.
  • Ensure accurate readings using mics and calipers.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of painting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a machine shop.
  • Proficiency in reading mics and calipers.
  • Basic math skills, including multiplication.
  • Forklift operation experience.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Employees are provided with up to two pairs of steel-toed boots annually, uniforms, and respirators to ensure a safe working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77086.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
