Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medicare Billing & Follow-Up Specialist to support a major healthcare organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare billing professionals seeking a remote opportunity within the Sacramento metropolitan area.

Location: Remote (Must reside locally in the Sacramento / Roseville, CA area)- no exceptions
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 13-week contract

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of Medicare or Managed Medicare follow-up experience
• EPIC proficiency required
• Strong understanding of payer portals, denial management, and professional claim processing
• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Technical degree preferred)
• Ability to meet vaccination requirements (medical and religious exemptions may apply)

Responsibilities:
• Review, correct, and submit professional claims for reimbursement
• Perform follow-up on unpaid accounts and denied claims
• Partner with internal teams on coding updates, charge corrections, and claim appeals
• Calculate write-offs and process debit/credit adjustments
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing account resolution
• Communicate with patients, government agencies, and third-party payers to support reimbursement efforts

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
