A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a contract position serving a K-12 school district in Lakeville, MN, with an anticipated duration through June 3, 2026. This onsite role involves acting as a float nurse across the district to provide essential healthcare services to students in various school settings. The position requires a valid LVN/LPN license and offers an opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of school-aged children in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to students across multiple schools within the district
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
  • Monitor student health and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate nursing and health records in compliance with regulations
  • Assist with health screenings and emergency care as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current LVN/LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota
  • Experience working as an LPN in school settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple sites
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • No educator credential required

Location:

  • Onsite in various schools throughout the district located in Lakeville, MN (itinerant/floating role)
