- Location: West Sac
- Pay: $20/hr
- Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm M-F
- Contract Term: 6 months + potential for contract to hire!
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in supporting our office operations and ensuring a smooth workflow. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for various administrative duties, including managing front desk activities, and handling phone communications.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
- HUGE PLUS if you are bilingual in English/Spanish
- Answer and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Assist in calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Provide customer support through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Conduct proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Support office management tasks, including inventory control and supply ordering
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation and management
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced communication capabilities
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and professional phone etiquette is essential
- Experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple responsibilities

- Previous experience in customer service or support roles is highly desirable
