\n • Shift schedule? 5x 8s -1200-2100 M-F or 1100-2000 M-F- needs to be flexible with either shift
\n • What type of equipment does your MT need to have experience with? Vitek, Vitros 5600, Satellite, and manual ortho gel for blood bank. Would be FANTASTIC if they also knew CERNER (EHR)
\n • Do you have your MT do phlebotomy? YES - need BLS
\n • What specific areas does your clinician need to come in with? Well-rounded generalist – micro, blood bank, chem, heme, microscopy, etc.
\n No call
\n Must have phlebotomy experience and work the entire bench. Micro isn’t as important but needs to know how to plate specimens and do gram stains.

\n 403B and Money Purchase plan with American Funds
\n -Money Purchase plan will start after 1 year of employment. 6% of base pay pre-tax will be put into your account by Lake Health each pay period. Fully vested after 6 years. Year one being the waiting period, year two 20%, year three 40% year four 60%, year 5 80% and year 6 100%.
\n -403B- this account will be available to you when you have reached your 500 hour probationary period. You can contribute up to $24,500 for 2026.
\n PTO & LTB start accruing on your first day of employment but are not useable until you have reached your 500 hour probationary period.
\n PTO-into the PTO bank the first five years are 2 weeks of vacation, 7 paid holidays, 2 personal days, and 4 sick days, Your accrual if you work 80 hours a pay period is 80x9.6%=7.68 hours each pay period. PTO is not accrued on used PTO or LTB hours.
\n LTB: into the LTB bank are 8 sick days. LTB can be accessed if you are sick after you have used 16 hours of PTO. It can also be accessed for Doctor/Dental appointments, if you are hospitalized or for an outpatient procedure.
