Independent Contractor – Commission Sales Representative (Bakery, Party & Dollar Stores)

Job Overview

We’re looking for a motivated Independent Contractor to build and manage a sales route across Southern California, selling to bakeries, party supply stores, and dollar/variety retailers.
This is a commission-only position with unlimited earning potential, ideal for a self-driven salesperson who thrives on independence, relationship building, and results.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and service a sales route covering Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties.
• Call on bakeries, cake decorators, party stores, and dollar/variety stores to present products, take orders, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Introduce new product lines, seasonal programs, and promotions to drive sales.
• Prospect and open new accounts throughout your assigned territory.
• Record orders and customer details accurately and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with company operations for order fulfillment and delivery.

Compensation

• Independent Contractor (1099) – 100% commission-based.
• Unlimited earning potential – you control your income.
• Recurring commissions on reorders and returning customers.
• Performance bonuses and incentives available for top producers.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven outside sales or route sales experience preferred (wholesale, foodservice, or retail supply).
• Existing customer base or contacts in bakeries, party, or dollar/variety stores a strong plus.
• Highly motivated, independent, and goal-oriented.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
