Job Description
This temporary warehouse role focuses on supporting locker operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will handle unloading, quality control, light assembly, and order preparation while working closely with a small, highly coordinated team. The position requires adaptability, strong work ethic, and comfort with physical tasks throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Unload large but lightweight locker boxes (approximately 20 lbs) from shipping containers to the warehouse floor using hand trucks and dollies.
- Handle fully assembled lockers that arrive non-palletized and move them safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Perform quality control by inspecting lockers, testing locks, applying labels and stickers, and repackaging products for shipment.
- Document any product damage by taking photos and sending clear email reports as directed.
- Use basic hand tools, including electric drills, to disassemble and reassemble lockers, replace doors, and adjust locks after training.
- Pull and prepare customer orders by staging lockers, packing crates for tradeshows, and ensuring items are ready for shipment.
- Support tradeshow preparation by organizing and packing locker products and assisting other departments when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by performing regular housekeeping and upkeep tasks.
- Collaborate closely with a small team of approximately 2–5 people, coordinating tasks and supporting teammates as needed.
- Operate dollies, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks (EPJs) to move products safely around the warehouse.
- Follow established team processes, work independently when required, and maintain a fast work pace throughout the shift.
- Follow verbal instructions in English accurately while working comfortably in a predominantly Spanish-speaking environment.
- Demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and a positive attitude, especially in a changing environment as the warehouse is liquidated and relocated.
Essential Skills
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or similarly fast-paced physical work environment.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and kneeling for approximately 90% of the workday.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Ability to adapt to established team processes and contribute as a cooperative team player.
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and willingness to follow instructions and workplace procedures.
- Comfort working in a predominantly Spanish-speaking environment while understanding and following verbal instructions in English very well.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team of 2–5 people.
- Ability to move quickly, work efficiently, and maintain focus on tasks throughout the shift.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, including the use of electric drills to remove and adjust locks.
- Willingness and commitment to remain in the role for the full temporary assignment of approximately 5–6 months, through January or February 2026.
- Willingness to undergo a post-employment background check as part of the hiring process.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating electric pallet jacks (EPJs).
- Previous warehouse experience beyond the minimum requirement.
- Experience with heavy lifting or enjoyment of physically demanding jobs.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic during organizational changes, including warehouse liquidation and relocation.

Work Environment
This role is based in a typical warehouse environment focused on locker products and logistics. The assignment is temporary, as the warehouse is being liquidated and relocated, with an expected duration of 5–6 months through January or February. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break. You will work closely with a small team of approximately 2–5 people in a predominantly Spanish-speaking setting, while receiving instructions in English. The work is physically active, involving frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs, as well as moving large but lightweight locker boxes using dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks. Dress is typical for a warehouse environment, prioritizing safety and comfort appropriate for manual handling, equipment operation, and general warehouse tasks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
