About the Role

Our progressive Engineering Team in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (K-12/Healthcare Building Design), PE. This individual will play a key role in ensuring project execution aligns with design intent, providing technical leadership across a wide range of building types. We’re looking for someone who brings strong insight, exceptional quality standards, and a commitment to excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Senior Electrical Engineer and Team Leader (PE), you will:

Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and interior designers across our Austin, Houston, and San Antonio offices.

Lead and coordinate studies, designs, and construction documents for projects of varying size and complexity.

Conduct site surveys and work with electrical utilities for both renovation and new construction assessments.

Design building electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting, with working knowledge of fire alarm and low-voltage systems.

Oversee and coordinate construction documents for small to mid-sized projects.

Participate in construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals and performing site observations.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Utilize software tools for electrical load analysis, short circuit studies, and lighting calculations.

Mentor and support junior engineering staff.

Develop multidisciplinary solutions to complex electrical system challenges.

What You Bring

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license

Proficiency with Revit (required)

7+ years of electrical engineering experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent field

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
