About the Role
We're hiring 10 Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based positions in Chesterfield, VA for the 2026–2027 school year. CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are both welcome to apply. SLPAs will not be considered for these roles.


Position Details

  • Start Date: August 2026 (exact date TBD with district)
  • End Date: June 2027
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour days); strong part-time candidates will be considered
  • Hourly Rate: $45.00 – $52.00 / hour, based on experience
  • Caseload: ~40 students
  • Assignment Type: Varies by position; some roles may be itinerant across multiple campuses
  • Student Population: Pre-K through 12th grade


Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students Pre-K–12
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students across assigned school(s)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Travel between sites as needed for itinerant assignments

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active Virginia SLP License (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
  • Virginia Department of Education Teaching Credential or eligible to obtain
  • CCC-SLP or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) eligible
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
