Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist is needed for a part-time position in Kingston, NH, supporting an elementary school setting. This contract role offers approximately 20 hours per week, spread over three days, and focuses on working with a small caseload of about 12 students from the high school Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold current licensure as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist.
- Experience working with student populations facing emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
