Job Description

Kane Partners seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings across our production floor. This is a hands-on role where your engineering expertise and problem-solving mindset will directly impact our operations and bottom line. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product manufacturability, and help shape the future of our fabrication and assembly operations.


What You'll Do

· Identify and lead initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and safety while reducing manufacturing costs.

· Develop, implement, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes that support both fabrication and assembly.

· Analyze current workflows and perform time/motion studies to establish accurate production standards.

· Create standard work instructions and supporting documentation to ensure repeatable and scalable operations.

· Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure new products are optimized for manufacturability.

· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

· Design custom fixtures and tooling to support streamlined operations.

· Drive lean manufacturing practices and participate in Kaizen events to foster continuous improvement.

· Maintain accurate BOMs and production routings as needed.

· Stay current on emerging technologies and manufacturing best practices and apply them where appropriate.


Who You Are

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

· Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification preferred.

· 6–8 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Deep understanding of fabrication processes and equipment such as MIG welding, press brakes, saws, waterjets/plasma cutters, rollers, lathes, etc.

· Experience programming and operating CNC machines (milling and turning).

· Skilled in blueprint reading and technical drawing creation.

· Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; experience with Inventor Vault is a plus.

· Comfortable using Microsoft Office and MRP systems.

· Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.

· Ability and enthusiasm to coach, train, and mentor others.
