- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- PVD, CAD, HF CVA, Venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, TOS
- Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
- US Tech (Vascular): BLS; ARDMS RVT Registered Vascular Technologist OR CCI ~ Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
- Is NC State Licensure required? No
- Skills required:
- US Tech (Vascular):
- EPIC experience required
- Dedicated vascular ultrasound experience; Must be Registered Vascular Technologist or CCI ~ Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
- Carotid, Upper/Lower: Arterial, Venous, DVT/Reflux, Vein Mapping; Renal, Mesentric, AAA, Endograft, Aorta, Upper/Lower PVR/Segmental Pressures, Hemodialysis grafts, Iliac Veins. Arterial bypass grafts (fem-fem, fem-pop, loop grafts, etc)

- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC - must have experience
- VascuPro - reporting system
- Department specific Equipment: Philips Epic Elite, Parks PVR/Segmental Pressures machines

- Yes: High Point Outpatient only lab if needed: 306 Westwood Ave, High Point NC
- Orientation (facility and unit):
- 3 days departmental
- Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: Yes
- Vascular US: 0800-1700 daily (rotate weekends)
- No call
- Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work Thanksgiving (11/27/2025) and Christmas Day 12/25/2025) ONLY.
- We observe the following holidays:

- RTO: Approved prior to contract acceptance otherwise at manager discretion and 4 weeks’ notice required.
- Shift times:
- Vascular US: 0800-1630 daily (rotate weekends - off on Thurs for working weekend)
- Schedule cycle: schedule is made every 13 weeks for travelers

- Scrub Color: black scrubs
