  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Start: As Soon As Possible
  • Pay Rate: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; every 3rd Saturday at a nearby PSC, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) represents the organization’s commitment to excellence and patient care. The PSR I is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring adherence to established procedures, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.This role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and empathy in all patient interactions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages.
  • Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transportation according to company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Create a positive, professional, and safe environment for patients and colleagues.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection duties with accuracy and care.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all lab activities.
  • Follow all quality assurance and safety standards to ensure compliance with CLIA and company policies.
  • Exhibit leadership behaviors by modeling excellence, reliability, and integrity in daily tasks.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with keyboard and data entry systems.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory only in CA, NV, and WA; not required in NJ).
