Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language pathology services to students in a supportive educational setting. This contract role focuses on delivering essential support to K-12 learners for the entire 2026-2027 school year. The position is onsite only and offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours each week.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Washington SLP licensure and willingness to be fingerprinted through OSPI
- Ability to obtain a Washington Education Staff Associate (ESA) certificate if not already held
- Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or training working in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in accordance with district and state requirements
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and staff to promote students’ educational success
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students can develop their communication skills
