Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with holiday rotation
\n• 16-hour NBO (no break option) shift requirements
\n• Float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
\n• Care for pulmonary and medical surgical patients on a 23-bed unit
\n• Manage patients requiring bi-pap, trach care, and ventilated patients
\n• Administer heparin drips and other specialized medications
\n• May care for COVID-positive patients
\n• Charge nurse experience required
\n• 24 months of medical surgical experience required
\n• Pulmonary patient care experience required
\n• Experience with pulmonary/ventilated patients on bi-pap and trach care highly preferred
\n• First-time travelers accepted if they meet 2+ year medical surgical experience requirement
\n• Must have active Iowa license or compact/multistate license
\n• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
\n• EMR system: Epic
\n• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
