Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with active BLS and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year in critical care pediatrics required; 2 years preferred.
- Must have completed at least one travel assignment (no first-time travelers).
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors.
- Confident with ICU-level drips (heparin, insulin, occasional cardiac).
- Team-oriented mindset, excellent communication, and adaptability in an “all hands on deck” open bay unit.
- Comfortable with occasional adult patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Care for post-op pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Monitor telemetry, manage medication administration, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
- Collaborate closely with transporters, charge nurses, PACU educators, anesthesia, and support staff.
- Provide family-centered care in alignment with best practices.
