We are seeking a high-energy compassionate and organized Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic integrated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in our office. Experience with out of network insurances and the previous experience scheduling multiple specialities a plus.
Duties:
- Greet and register patients, collecting relevant information, and verifying insurance coverage.
-Able to schedule multiple service lines including PT, OT, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Pain Management
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both electronic and physical.
- Answer and direct phone calls, as well as respond to inquiries via email and in-person.
- Perform medical administrative support duties, such as scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and preparing charts.
- Utilize medical terminology and dental terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment, adhering to medical office standards and protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Handle urgent care situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Maintain knowledge of medical systems and software, including electronic health records and billing systems.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental clinic is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical receptionist or administrative support roles.
- Strong patient service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Ability to learn medical terminology and dental terminology quickly.
- Familiarity with medical systems and software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and support.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
