Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time speech-language pathologist is needed for an elementary school setting in Clinton Township, MI, for the 2025/26 school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to manage a caseload focused on elementary students, providing a vital role in supporting speech and language development within the school environment.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials, or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or certification in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Ability to design and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans appropriate for elementary-aged children
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs among elementary students
- Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions addressing various speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise
