Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you bring:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience teaching or supporting high school-aged students, preferably in a special education setting
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with colleagues and families
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to adapt instruction and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Passion for advocating for student success and inclusion
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Adapt lessons and instructional strategies to address varied academic and behavioral needs
- Manage classroom routines and maintain a positive, supportive environment
- Collect data and monitor student progress, documenting and reporting outcomes
- Work in partnership with general education teachers and support staff to maximize student access to the curriculum
- Communicate regularly with families and other stakeholders on student achievements and challenges
