Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted, individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals, ensuring access to an appropriate curriculum.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans, utilizing de-escalation strategies to support students in crisis.
- Design and maintain a classroom atmosphere rooted in structure and therapeutic best practices.
- Support social-emotional growth through the integration of trust-building activities and skill development initiatives.
- Collaborate daily with behavioral staff, administrators, and other specialized support professionals to drive student success.
- Maintain thorough, actionable documentation and participate actively in IEP meetings to inform program planning and adapt interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current or eligible South Carolina Special Education certification.
- Prior experience within emotional disabilities, behavioral classrooms, or alternative education settings is highly valued.
- Strong classroom management and crisis intervention abilities, with proven skills in fostering student growth amid challenging circumstances.
