Requirements MUST be BC/BE in ABEM or AOBEMMUST have ACLS/PALS at time of submissionPosition specific questions· Reason for the need? YES with waiver· Experience level? Will you accept new grads? YES of ABEM/ABOEM Credentialing questions:· Will emergency privileges be an option? Possibly· Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? YES - 2 years Hospital/unit questions· Number of ER Bays? 10· Number of Patients/Hour? 2.0 - 2.5· What’s the patient mix? Low Acuity· Trauma center designation? No· Is there nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity? In season currently only on Monday Specialty Specific Questions:Emergency Medicine · Shift lengths? 8 10 12 12 hour shifts· AM and PM Shift Coverage Needed? YES· Staffing Model: How many other EM Providers are on at the same time? Single Coverage· What does support staff include? Normal ER support staff YES· ED Admission Rate? lt 5 Meditech FLG
