Position Overview:
A growing logistics and supply chain company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its team in Hazleton, PA. This is a high-impact role working closely with leadership to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain financial accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and takes pride in keeping financial records structured, clean, and up to date.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage
  • Perform partial checks of the posting process
  • Balance accounts by reconciling entries
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
  • Manage full-cycle AP and AR, including invoicing, bill pay, and collections follow-up
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations

Qualifications:

  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Dependable, proactive, positive and team-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $60,000 – $72,000 DOE
