ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Temporary | 90 Days with Possibility of Extension
POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to support daily office operations across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter with strong clerical and communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to accuracy and professionalism. This role requires strict adherence to a professional dress code.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for various departments
- Prepare written correspondence and maintain department records, both electronically and physically
- Execute routine and repetitive tasks with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Apply organizational policies and guidelines in day-to-day operations
- Operate standard office equipment including fax machines, scanners, and copy machines
Communication & Coordination
- Manage inbound and outbound calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Coordinate the flow of information between departments and teams
- Act as a liaison and coordinator across various teams and departments
- Communicate effectively across verbal, written, and electronic formats
Customer Service
- Provide high-quality customer service to the public, external agencies, and internal departments
- Answer questions regarding processes, procedures, and general information
- Resolve issues promptly and professionally as they arise
SCHEDULE To be determined based on departmental needs
REQUIREMENTS
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; general computer competency required
- Experience with 10-key data entry
- Familiarity with standard office equipment (fax, scanner, copier, etc.)
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as follow direction when needed
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform prolonged work whether seated or standing
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs as needed
- Professional appearance required; dress code will be enforced
