Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available to support K-12 students in a public school setting in Salamanca, NY. This contract position runs for the current school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on students academic, social, and emotional development.
The ideal candidate will hold New York State certification as a School Psychologist and demonstrate experience working with diverse school-aged populations. This role requires delivering psychological services that support student success, including assessments, counseling, collaboration with educators and families, and contributing to intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special programs
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state regulations and professional standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- NY State School Psychologist certification
- Experience serving K-12 populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices

Job Duration: Current school year (contract)
