Pay: $22 to $25/hr. based on experience

Summary
The Document Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation related to the product realization process in a precision machining environment. This position ensures that supplier, customer, and internal records are properly verified, organized, stored, and retrievable in compliance with company, customer, and industry quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Verify, review, organize, and maintain critical documentation generated during the product realization process.
Manage documents including, but not limited to: supplier and customer certifications, internal job records, quality plans, and special process documentation.
Compare supplier and process certifications against purchase orders, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards for accuracy and compliance.
Compile and issue complete certification packets for outgoing part shipments.
Create and maintain forms used for data collection across departments using Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and other software tools.
Support internal quality and process audits; conducting ISO/AS audits is a plus but not required.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure documentation accuracy, control, and availability.
Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems consistent with quality management system standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Experience in document control or quality administration within a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 documentation practices desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based with periodic interaction on the production floor. May require handling of technical paper documents and electronic records in compliance with quality control procedures.
