Job DescriptionPLC Programmer Based in Birmingham, AL we have been in business for almost 50 years. We are currently in heavy growth mode and have seen a 6% growth in our headcount over the last 2 years. We provide solutions for foundries, steel mills, iron & steel processing, secondary aluminum smelting, cement plants, and paper mills; having the ability to deliver turn-key mechanical, piping, dust collection, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and commissioning services. If you are a controls engineer with hands-on experience please read on!What You Will Be DoingYou will be doing set ups and insuring start ups for clients.
The rest of the time you will be working out of our plant designing PLC's.
We are based in the foundry, steel mill and aluminum industries. We ask that you continue to grow your education in these industries and look for improvements in all aspects of your skills.What You Need for this PositionMore Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of:
- Electrical Engineering
- HMI
- Allen Bradley, RSLogix, OR Siemens
