In this position the person will be primarily responsible for driving an 8 passenger or an 12 passenger van in the Texas / Louisiana areas.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Work week will be a minimum of 40 hrs /
- Includes Saturdays / Sundays/ holidays / night time hours
- Driver will transport passengers/spares to vessels
Required Qualifications:
- must complete a criminal background check in order to obtain a Transportation Worker ID
- A valid driver’s license
- Must have and be able to maintain a clean driving record
- Willingness to frequently work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Capability of boarding and moving about vessels without physical restrictions, in addition to be able to carry onboard parcels up to 25 pounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
- Have strong communications skills (verbal & written)
- Must be very detail oriented
Pay: 18.00 usd/hr for first 40 hrs in work week (Thursday-Wednesday)
27.00 usd/hr for hours exceeding 50 hrs in work week (does not apply if PTO taken)
36.00 usd/hr for holdiays as noted in RSSA employee manual
PTO – paid time off to apply as per employee handbook
As this is a growing company opportunity for advancement is available for a hardworking and detailed oriented person. Position requires a quick learner, capable of adapting to different environments. Applicant should be well organized and capable of keeping track of multiple tasks.
Those with a criminal history need not apply. Due to US Government regulations concerning access to petroleum/chemical terminals and sea-going vessels, a "Criminal Background" check will be performed. Additionally, a "Department of Homeland Security" background check will be required to obtain required TWIC card for terminal access.
