Certified Epic Business Intelligence Analyst (Data and Analytics)
We're hiring a Certified Epic Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with strong Caboodle and Cogito expertise for a 1099 contract. You'll drive insights from survey and financial data, supporting a system transition from Community Connect to HOPD, and ensure analytics are delivered with speed and accuracy. Beyond BI, you'll assess workflows, build and document new Epic applications, and resolve technical issues, partnering with end-users to inform build decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain analytics dashboards and reports centered on survey data and financial metrics.
- Support the data and analytics aspects of system transitions, particularly the move from Community Connect to HOPD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate data, and present insights.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and speed in analytics deliverables.
- Adhere to organizational data governance and security protocols.
- Effectively manage time
Required Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: Epic Caboodle Data Model, Cogito Access Data Model
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in specific Epic module.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics or business intelligence
- Hands-on experience developing Epic BI reports, dashboards, and data models
- Strong understanding of healthcare financial metrics and survey data
- Proven ability to deliver accurate and timely analytics in a fast-paced environment
- Up to 10% travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data initiatives related to Community Connect or HOPD
- Familiarity with regulatory and financial reporting in a hospital or ambulatory care setting
- Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), or statistical analysis
- Background in presenting analytics to leadership and clinical teams
