Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Bilingual Sales Administrator fluent in both English and Mandarin. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between our Chinese manufacturing partners and our North American sales and engineering teams. You will manage the flow of technical data, commercial documentation, and communication to ensure seamless program execution from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Bilingual Communication: Act as point of contact for Chinese principals; translate technical specifications, RFQs, and commercial agreements between Mandarin and English.
- Sales Support: Assist Sales Managers in preparing quotations, sales presentations, and market assessment reports for North American OEMs (Ford, GM, Stellantis, etc.).
- Meeting Facilitation: Participate in and provide interpretation as needed for conference calls, video meetings, and on-site visits between international suppliers and local customers.
- Administrative responsibilities: Prepare and maintain documents and reports using Microsoft Office products. Track progress on projects and shipments, new business and part numbers as needed. Organize and participate in external and internal events as needed.
Qualifications
- Language: Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales administration, project coordination, or executive support, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with Hubspot is a bonus.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate cultural nuances in business negotiations.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
