General Ophthalmology practice in McLean, VA is in need of an experienced Ophthalmic Technician. COA desired but will train experienced Technician for certification. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Duties for the Ophthalmic Technician include:
- Working up patients for the Ophthalmologists to include:
- Manual refractions
- Tonometry by applanation
- Slit lamp experience
- OCT
- Visual Fields
- Topography
Experience required for the Ophthalmic Technician:
- Two or more years of Ophthalmic Technician experience
- Proficiency in manual refractions
- Proficiency in Slit lamp, OCT, Visual Fields and Topography
Salary range $21 - 26 per hour depending upon experience.
