As a Registered Nurse in our Breast Surgery clinic, you will play an essential role in a team committed to offering hope, healing, and outstanding care to patients and families facing the challenges of cancer treatment. Position Overview:
Location: Cancer Center
Role: Outpatient RN - Breast Surgery Clinic
Schedule: Full Time | Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Qualifications
Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program. Familiarity with nursing principles, care procedures, examination techniques, and treatment room protocols. Understanding of medications, their effects, patient education, and safety practices.
Licensure: Must hold a current and valid state nursing license.
Certifications: CPR certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Proficient in assisting with and performing various medical treatments and procedures. Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations. Capable of interpreting, adapting, and applying guidelines and policies. Strong communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and the public. Basic computer skills or the willingness to learn to access information and input clinical data.
